The New Chat Restriction in The Feast

I don't remember who posted it originally but I like the idea of the chat restriction being turned on for players that are reported for harassment instead of it being the default for everyone.
GMs could check the chat logs to re-enable it for people that were unfairly reported and decide on an appropriate duration for offenders when they investigate the reports.

You know what it is a good example of. That they should have a real PvP community/moderator/ A real thread discussing actions taken on who and why. Someone who makes a report to the players weekly reviews current situations. A real pvp team or at least person. But sadly we get the blah blah policy stuff. and threads people posting names of people they think are cheating

I agree. This, and many other examples of poor handling of PvP content and it's primary playerbase really speaks in volumes that it's simply not enough to offer the content, but fully and properly support it. From updates to troubleshooting, to active, TIMELY communication with said playerbase, just as with PvE.

As it stands, SE, things CAN be better. And we have done quite a bit to express ideas (side note: it is now 21 pages after "If anyone has any suggestions", please read them carefully). It is up to you to do your part now.

That's a good idea, Moonlite.. add some transparency to the process so people know who is saying what. I'm pretty sure the ragers would think twice if they knew their "poetry" would be visible to everyone.

As for "higher levels of play" why do you ppl even need chat in the first place? if it is truly "high-level", with an insanely limited system as a 4-vs-4 encounter with fully known actions, time restraints for each, and no higher order of applicable tactics than "buff/heal ally - debuff/kill enemy", you should be zerging this on flowchart by now.

Edit: Yes, I see.. You want to present yourself as high-level without ever bothering to actually solve the game. Very convenient, but I'm not buying this.

1. You dont know if the person got any penalty (could be just a warning etc.)
2. They dont tell you about it because people could abuse this information
3. Thinking that they dont do anything against harassment is not true GMs punish you pretty strict and hard if you harass a other person
4. Posting a screenshot of a conversation with a GM without any context isnt any proof or what so ever I'm pretty sure the GM who knows the whole case and has chatlogs etc. can judge better
