The New Chat Restriction in The Feast

Well, if people could just remain civil and act like mature adults, SE wouldn't even have considered something like chat restriction in the first place. They did that because far too many people for their liking could not and they felt the amount of effort required to police these people disproportionate.

The effort of you disabling your own pvp chat is too big? And the mature thing here is to disable it for all people, even if they dont want it?
