The New Chat Restriction in The Feast

It is quite interesting how they decided that custom premade matches should have still the chatoption but premade ranked matches shouldn't have it. It is like they are expecting me that I harass/report my teammembers, which I joined in a party before participating maybe even on voicechat, maybe friends or fc members and not random people that I never met before. But if it would be really that then they would have done it in custom matches aswell or? So it is the fact that it is rated,like, SE doesn't want you to communicate in rated matches or they simply forgot to restrict chat in custom matches. I just hope this doesn't become another request like the change with gc restrictions that took some years to accomplish.xD

I would like to congratulate SE on season 4 being the worse and absolute unenjoyable season of the feast, even worse then season 2. having no chat makes these matches an absolute mess.

There's a 4th, I've seen people glad it is gone because they are the people who play a lot of Feast but refuse to take advice and stagnate. Now, people can't give them advice! No one can tell them that they should actually use Clemency or to swap to a different sect when you pick up stacks. It's perfect.

Adding my voice to this finally. I keep getting a tank on my team who is addicted to medaljuana and constantly grabs metals, getting 8-10 stacks. Then dies and spams "Nice job!". With every death "Nice job!". And when we lose because he dies at 10s with 9 stacks " Nice job!"

And there is no way for me to tell him to STOP collecting medals! It is driving me nuts. Ugh!

I've always wanted chat back but this really irritated me. Bring chat back!

Man i've whined about this before but I barely play feast and i've been trying to poke into it every so often but the lack of chat makes every match RNG. Without some form of communication I dont know what the F* anyone is thinking and it turns into "will we work well together yolo.. YOLO BOMB". Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. Some people are good enough at pvp to carry alone, others like me are not.

If your feelings are so fragile that you cant handle a dumb troll every so often then a team based PVP game is /not/ for you. PVP is not carebear hold hands, there is going to be anger and a bit of aggression that goes into every single match. Sometimes feelings run hot between players but at the end of the day no ones gonna remember or really care past a few minutes. You're just not /that/ important, no one is in the head space of every person you come across. I've had more instances of people being good sports then I have the other way, its really a non factor.

As WHM I can't explain that I can't just cast while moving.
I even mark the ground, and put a big X on my head, and people still assume I can just fly around like AST.

Everytime I go to sleep the healer, "Stopping Healer!"
Then everyone starts attacking the healer, because most don't understand the difference.

There's a point with my cool downs that I know I will die if ganged up on; I can't communicate that to my team.
"I'm out of MP!" "Fall back!" But they look and see >5K mp and I get stuck.

I can't tell new tanks how heavy medal works.
I can't apologize when I screw up.
I can't tell PLDs when sleep wears for them to start stun locking.
I can't tell people to stack together for Cure III.

Meanwhile I watch ASTs zip around do their thing; and I feel like WHM is terrible because I can't get across the technical aspects that make it viable.

Overall; I hate it.
I hate the concept.
I hate the principle.
I hate that they would add more things for me to put on a PS4 cross bar.

Do not take the social element out of my Final Fantasy Online.

A part of me is glad there is no chat, because... Boy there is some expletive i would like to say to some of these players!

If we keep the actual chat, I would like to have "I'am sorry" or "this is my fault"
I feel really bad to not have the possibility to apologize when my team lose because of me.
