The New Chat Restriction in The Feast

You are still posting nothing in relation for my main point, and why are you even saying anything if you do not want the chat ban? the arguments hold no water, they do not make sense, and you did not even reply to me. You being able to put a vote kick request does not address the post I made.

So this is probably going to get this deleted. I thought your point was wahh PvP has chat ban, ban chat in PvE. Since they are on equal playing fields. Which they are not. That is my point. I don't argue one has a bigger group of jerks, one has tools. The tools work the way they are intended group with 50% gets motion passed. One person can't kick another. If friends vote together, guess what it still took more then one click.

It is not my job to go back and show you the kick argument was addressed several times and it is not a strong argument!

and me and someone else explained that argument did not hold water, and you ignored that, why? also what about when people group up together to make themselves immune to it anyway? You never seen vote kick abuse, vote kick immunity abuse, vote kick revenge abuse from this?

People get around the vote kick easily and abuse it, and PvE is more toxic then PvP, along with abusing the so called tools to justify why they targeted PvP and not PvE, if you are going to "ah wah but vote kick" then vote kick and all chat should be removed because it is abused. either remove all the tools of abuse, or let people have all the tools, taking them out in some instances and not others is called unfair targeting/double standard. How you are still missing this point I have no clue. You are not the only person on the forums that tires using vote kick. Vote kick does not work when you have 2 or 3 people abusing it from forming a premade.

At this time, the team is planning on making improvements to the quick chat feature to improve communication. If you have any suggestions for improvements to this feature, including additions of phrases such as "Please recover MP," be sure to let us know!

Use defensive stances
> Tanks that have 10 medals and are still running around in DPS stance. Same for MNK's and not using Fists of Earth. RIP anyone else.

Someone switch to healer. / Healer Requested
> Lots of games with either 0 or 1 healer, sure when you have DPS that know how to burst you only need 1 healer and the games over within 1 minute. But everyone's a PUG who knows how much damage dealing they will do.

Limit Break Ready
> Many times I've been on melee, or ranged and use a LB right as someone uses an AOE knock back out of my Limit Break.

Ask for MP
> Long games as a healer with no one dieing are frustrating.

> Not fall back

There is so much specific details that need to be told to some people that SE would have to make way to many macros for it to even be considered ok.

I personally want chat back to the way it was but SE already makes it look like they won't even consider that.

It is sad and frustrating! having no chat is cancer

I couldn't really handle the stress, I couldn't explain to new players how to burst, how to manage medals, or even ask them if they have any questions, to the point I transferred earlier just to reset my rating of 2800 and not have to deal with solo queue anymore.

I still have hopes they're bringing chat back for season 4, if not, I don't think I'll tolerate playing feast in season 4.

there is so much to say, without having the option to say anything. like. the tank who didnt equip his ring. cant say shit about. or the 13k hp ninja rocking vit acc!. the lower ranks are absolute mess of rng and coins flip flop/ ping pong between tanks of 10stacks.... yet... cant say anything. cant give direction. cant pass any msg.

in Chaos anything Gold and below is a mess Ty Garo and the absolutely clueless new waves of players. a Gold blm who was in my server. took stacks and i msged him after the match. he legit thought if you die the least you can take coins after kills.!!!! i linked him to guides and how coins work. he honestly thought he was supposed to take coins. "But i died the least!"

this chat disable thing has festered the worst promoting bad play to carry on from lower/new players to higher ranks. like that Plat bard popping b4b while Full Swing on him. gl mate... you are so dead. yet. still cant say shit about it.

we cant give any advise or point players in the right direction during the match. or even link them some guides so that they can improve. some people reached plat and yet they still dont know they can purify other players. or they dont even know what full swing does. its so disheartening.

i agree with Taru. the current feast is not fun and is even worse without the chat. its absolute cancer.

Remove the restrictions on chat in feast for the majority of the player base. Implement a way to squelch a player's chat in party if they're being toxic while still allowing them to use the feast-custom-chat buttons. PLEASE make the feast chat buttons a separate menu similar to the way-marker and target marker menu. I personally do NOT have the hotbar space to put all those buttons within easy reach to use in Feast.

For perspective: we are now at 23 pages, predominantly full of "remove quick chat/restore normal chat" after Luxpheras called for suggestions.

It's long overdue now to have this matter addressed properly. The quick chat has proven itself to be far more of a problem than a solution. If this is not corrected before Season 4, I don't see very many people being motivated to participate.
