We stand in the staging area before each match to collect our strategy. Lol. I guess if you're new to the Feast best to ask lots of questions at that time. Rofl.

Sounds to me like the community has spoken loud, clear, and unanimously.
REMOVE THE QUICK CHAT AND RESTORE THE ORIGINAL CHAT
Remove the chat restrictions. No amount of hot bar bloat with these quick chat sayings will be good enough as being able to specify "Stun/silence/cc the healer so we can go in on the dps that picked up too many medals" or other situational instructions. Especially if someone isn't experienced in their role in pvp, or are just new to it in general. The hot bar bloat is unacceptable for both controller and keyboard/mouse players, and is clumsy to access if you don't take up your precious hot bar space with them.
If it has been determined that they will never put the full chat back in the feast (even with all the negative feedback this has caused), can we at least get chat but limit it to auto-translate only? That would give people an actually ability to communicate and have pre-made macro's that make sense.
Auto-translate is approved and review communication by the Devs, but would actually allow macros, and a wider range of communication.
And why limit it in pre-made feast.... cause you could not flame out your team members after you exit the match.... (fyi, you can!)
I want a button that explains this:
Hey this brd is charging in and targeting [person with the most medals] It is likely they are going to burst down our guy to get the win! stun, sleep, kill this brd!
we lost because on the final seconds our medal carrier got barrage, empyreal arrow and had like 10 stacks or something.
You know what? I am boycotting feast now I got my mount, ill get the other 20 wins in frontline, screw this chat.

If they implement that you can be sure it'll be abused. Hell some ppl could ban together to report the top player just to get ahead. Nope that wont work

Ive had nothing but quick queues and good matches so far. won 10 in like a day without using as much as 2 or 3 quotes. So far Im good with this
Just use discord or voice com if you wanna coordinate. It really isnt necessary unless youre aiming for top tier.
Most ppl I know are cool with the removal.![]()
According to SE data they have collected from over 2 millions pvpers from a secret survey they released before the discussion to remove the chat, SE tally more positive recommendations to remove the chat then pvpers complaining it wasn't a good idea. This btw is coming to you from alternative facts.

I won 30 in a day, so what? That does not prove anything. I also had a lot of preventable losses because of no chat. This is exactly why the experienced PvPers want chat back, a lot of stuff is going on you are not seeing because people can't talk to you. You never been CC spammed like slept so people can burst down one of your dps? You never seen my quoted happen? You do realize this change happened at the same time there is some event to get mounts right? before this change , before the announcement of there being an event with PvP (frontline queues did speed up a few weeks before this patch due to mark farming) But before this you could sit on 1 to 3 hours waiting for a queues. When my friend first returned to the game being 60, a few weeks before 3.3, she would do the frontline random, or try to. Since she crafts, she did not care about the long waits but one time she saw the wait timer cap, meaning it would not count anymore, it caps at 999 minutes and 99 seconds. (she left her computer on and went to sleep, woke up and was still in queue 999 minutes and 99 seconds, had no idea it had a cap)
I was pulled in 50 PvP matches here and there, so yeah this event had drastic effect on queue times but I bet you would not know that would you?
Can we leave out the trump memes and political agenda please? at first I thought you were serious, I hate this year so much already .. 4 more years... Most people are not ok with the removal, as has been made abundantly clear.Ive had nothing but quick queues and good matches so far. won 10 in like a day without using as much as 2 or 3 quotes. So far Im good with this
