Entry level subscription

I want to switch to entry level subscription, but the main character that I use is second on my character creation list. He's a level sixty and the character I'll have used last compared to the other character who never got past 50. Will the game recognize any of that or will it just default to whatever is top of the list? I might want the character back in the future so I would prefer not having to delete it, so is there any way to signify which is character is my main? I didn't see any options in mogstation and I'm not sure if it'll give me one when the subscription takes into effect.

This is what I dug up from the FAQ:

If you have multiple active service accounts and want to select which service account to use, please follow the below instructions.

1. At the FINAL FANTASY XIV start screen, select ‘Data Center’ and click on ‘Proceed’.
2. A list of your active service accounts will be displayed, select the service account you wish to log in with.

You will now be logged into the game with the service account you’ve chosen. Please note that if you don't select an active service account, FINAL FANTASY XIV will default to the last active service account used to log into the game.




The lodestone also lets you choose which character you want to be your active character. I am not sure if this is the solution but doesn't hurt to try.

Far as I know, it will default to the earliest created character. So your case, you'll likely have to delete the first character to prioritize the second.

Yep this. Sorry, but entry level sub is the first character in the list and you can't select another. You'd have to delete to get your second one to then become the first.

You can also transfer the first character to another server instead of deleting it.
