Possible Request? Running Animations?

Would this be something people would be behind? Like setting our idle pose, would people support having multiple running animations to choose from?

And also death poses? I know that's a silly request but I watched some old 1.0 footage and realized that races had unique death poses back then. Seems like a weird thing to remove.

Pretty much why I'm playing Miqo (although I do like her, simply because they're made very discrete... the only time I remember she's a cat girl is in cutscenes).

I think having the option would be really good.

I thought of making another mandatory periodic whine thread about this, but I might as well just necro this one.

I don't actually mind the hyur female run, however I wouldn't mind more options. I am sure this been asked before.

More options is always a good thing.

Yes please. I've known people who switched from AuRa Males because of the run. I don't even like the cat walk because of the switching. Walk like a battle hardened warrior dammit!

Death animations would be cool. I always found it amusing in another game where if you died, your character would be on all fours then reach out before crumpling in a heap and the usual cause of death was ganking.

Technically that's not really death though, your character is really just falling to the ground unconscious, but still alive... (alright I know I'm being Miss Pedantic here ).

I do admit I would like to see an alternative "run with weapons drawn" animation though, particularly for GLA/PLD, I'd like to have an animation with my shield being held directly in front of me rather than to the side (and thus leaving myself open to attack). And other classes and Jobs could also do with a similar tweak to animations to make them look more ready to fight rather than just dragging their weapons beside them.
