Its unfortunate that these questions wont be addressed due to the teen rating of the game. I almost wish that it was a mature rating honestly. I'm mostly interested in cross breeding though ... they exist? Where or when did you see them existing? I am very curious!!

How far are you in the main story quest? You will/have met Hilda, a halfbreed of Hyur and Elezen, in the Heavensward 3.0 storyline.

I had to really back track through the forum, but I finally found the relevant statement from Koji-Fox on the subject, stating that mixed-race children were possible but extremely rare - it was done way back in 2011 on the old archived 1.0 forum:

Can different races crossbreed?

Answer: Yes, but it is rare...and often difficult due to cultural differences, etc. which is why you don't see it often. The lore team has informed me that there will be future quests/events that touch on this and other issues, such as love and marriage.

As shown by Hilda the Mongrel, mixed racial heritage is possible amongst the six races, it's just not very common (Hilda's case was her mother was a Midlander hyur who was employed as a servant for one of Ishgard's noble families, and her father was an Wildwood elezen nobleman - needless to say her mother was thrown out into the street as soon as his little 'indiscretion' had come to light. No doubt the same happened to a lot of those of mixed heritage sadly.
