While i understant the MSQ needs to be more or less easy to be done in fast and get in the new areas, we should be able some kind of mid-term challengue between the average dificulty of the duties and Extreme. One example i like to give to my friends about the matter it's Vishap. While i understand the nerf, having an expansion gated after the trial, i quite enjoyed it while it lasted. It required a simple combination of talking with your teammates and cooperation, nothing else.

    I am a casual, i play what i can a bit a week because of my situation right now and i enjoy a relaxed gameplay like any other (Also due to the lack of time i cant do Extreme, nor that i have a static to stick with). But if the game demands me to improve, i will gadly do it (and help others if i have the opportunity to do so). I am not paying AND playing a game to be carried over a field of flowers like a little kid.

    We need more content like this one, out of the MSQ so it doesnt hinder the advance of the story.
    Personally the problem with the MSQ being easy is it kind of detracts from the atmosphere and tension the story itself tries to create.....

    The story is there saying oh no Ishgards in serious danger Vishapp is on a ramapage, the situation looks grim. citizens are panicing the city is in chaos all that stuff. Then you come along and faceroll the entire fight..... no effort, no danger. nothing.... as a result the entire atmosphere the story is trying to build up. is lost...

    It's the same with the all primals. the primals are supposed to pose a real threat to Eorzea and be a reald danger to the lands yet they get roflstomped repeatedly. so you never sense the level of danger or the threat they impose on the realm.

    That's one of the best things I liked about clearing coil in ARR, the difficulty of the fights kinda emphasised the story and the difficulties / turmoils the cast and characters were facing at the time.
