Encyclopedia Eorzea -- Still Waiting

Hello!

I'm wondering if anybody could shed a little bit of light on this. I ordered the Encyclopedia after the FanFest, when it became available. I paid for it on the 25th of October, and the bottom of the page read that it would take 5 to 10 days* to arrive. The * meant it could take longer, if it's an International delivery.

It's been almost an entire month and I still don't have it. Is this normal? Has this happened to anyone else?

That doesn't sound normal, mine only took a few days with regular updates from pdp about where it was and when it would arrive. Have you tried contatcting customer support?

If I recall,, all orders after 10/25 were basically wait list orders and they'd be shipped at the end of November.

The only people who should have them right now is those that ordered day 1

I am in the exact same situation where I order it on the 26th because I was on the waiting list. However, those of us that ordered then are in the second print group of people. Thus, unless if I am mistaken, they should be manufacturing them now then shipping them at the end of November. We should have ours in the first week of December.

This is not true. I missed the first batch so I put myself on the waiting list in october and never heard anything, checked the store on the 05/11 and saw they were in stock so I bought one then. Had an email on 8/11 saying it was on its way, then received it a few days later.

Where are you located? Because the whole "wait till end of November" thing is an NA thing, so if you're EU, that's different

My biggest worry was that my book shipped, but I might've gotten my address wrong. I've done that before O.O discovering that was like flipping a panic switch. Thankfully, that didn't happen this time around.

Have you checked your order's status to see if it's listed as shipped? Or contacted support for the website? If I'm recalling correctly, they sold out of the first printing of the book very quickly, so most website orders are waiting on the second printing.

What I'd really like to know is whether or not the second print edition will fix the numerous errors present in the first edition. I'm dying to get my hands on all that juicy lore, but I'd far prefer to wait for the most correct version possible.
