Chocobo house dye complaint

So after the update that implemented these and being a bit short on the mats to unlock the recipe, I had to wait a while and get them from airship ventures...do that eventually and make the new house.

Had a running gag about how if we dyed it black it would make the house fly (like a true black chocobo), and this happens:



This is the house dyed jet black. At first I was kind of ok with it despite thinking it was funny the only part dyed is the small area around the front door, but then posted it to reddit as a psa:

Got some people agreeing there it wasn't ok, saying thanks for the warning, laughing at the situation, etc, and one comment in particular said as is it's hard to look at.

And now I've gotten complaints from fc people saying the same thing. And I have to agree, pretty much making me regret this non-recoverable effort I've put into it.

Can we fix this, please?

Agreed! I would like to change colour of my chocobo mansion too! Please make it happen.

Agreed please let us dye the chocobo itself! We can dye our own chocobos why not the one on our houses?

I think it could be too late for that. Some house owners might have already dyed their house to their liking, and modifying the existing dye pattern would mess up their current appearance.

PS: Congratulations on getting the chocobo house, it looks cool regardless of the color
