A jump potion won't magically get you Savage clears. There are plenty of logical and sensible arguments to make against the Jump potions but saying things like this just discredits any serious issues you might try and raise.

I'm more focused on how changes benefits the end user. This is a bad move from a consumer PoV.

This was supposed to be a vanity only shop, and buying vanity from it was supposed to help improve the game.
Here we are over a year later with the same schedule for new content and roughly the same amount of content per patch, the promise that it would be vanity only is getting quietly ditched as well.

Honestly, am I the crazy one here? I don't get it, why are people ok with this? It's not like other options don't exist...

The signs have been here since the beginning. It is only a matter of time before the cash shop has some sort of token you can get and "Gift" for use on said cash shop. The cash shop genie is out of the bottle and they decided to milk players all through HW's for retainers. They moved all seasonal gear to cash shop. They triple gouged for fan fest for minion. They link multiple in game items to peddle real life stuff.

We are getting major Server infrastructure upgrades and then there was the EU datacenters, something Yoshi P mentioned were financed in a great part by cash shop earnings. We got those expensive hardware upgrades and no loss of content.
