    Tanking Snowcloak

Hello! I was hoping for some tanking advice. I ran Snowcloak for the clear today, and the Yeti fight was the most frustrating thing I've done in some time.

I knew all about the mechanics going in, but there was one thing I didn't account for: the Spriggans were ranged. Try as I might, I couldn't pull them in front of the boss because of this. There wasn't convenient terrain to LOS them with, I had to try just pulling them. But, doing that ran the boss all over hell's half acre. Second option, turn the boss. Same problem, boss facing everywhere and causing chaos.

Am I stupid? Is there something here that I totally missed?

Don't bother holding enmity on the Spriggans at all.
Just keep the boss to the side (opposed to the centre of the arena) and face him towards the spriggans as they spawn.

Traditionally you want all mobs on you, but in FFXIV there are many examples of adds that you let healers/dps take instead.

This is true but doesn't apply to his problem. You don't want dps/healers killing the spriggans.

On topic, just face the boss at them as best you can. The dps and healers should know they will need to move around a lot in this fight. You don't really want them close to you anyway. In fact, there's a higher chance of them being caught in the frontal cone aoe if they are further away. So just keep the boss on the edge of the arena and turn him when they spawn.

The best way to do it is to take the boss to the edge of the arena and face it inwards, where a healer is standing and attracting the spriggans with regens/healing. Of course, that requires a healer that won't run around like a headless chicken when they get aggro.

Pull the yeti to the edge of the arena and face him inwards so his cone aoe is large.

Let DPS take care of the Orges that spawn they just need to be killed asap because they can destroy the snowballs.

Let the healer get the spriggans aggo by heals and they can then move them into the aoe to be turned into snowballs.
