I like how some people including the #1 prize winner used a small house instead of a room and won anyway, I wish I knew the rules didn't matter before trying.

No, there are a few who need to be DQ'd and should be - they have lovely setups, but it was clear within the rules and posted here for clarification that the contest was for private rooms and apartments, not for full houses. It is a real shame, but if rules are going to be made, then rules should be followed. The following numbers are houses, not private rooms or apartments:

Winners #: 1 (Small house, main floor), 4 (Medium house, main floor), 25 (Large house, main floor), 38 (Large house, upper floor), 44 (VERY SNEAKY BUT, small house basement), and 48 (Small house, main floor).

The only reason I bring this up at all is because of the debacle that was the hairstyle contest a year and a bit back - SE changed/clarified the rules and the hairstyle that should have won because it had the most votes instead didn't - because they made it so that the first vote that was given was the one that counted, not any following votes... which meant that any hairstyle past maybe the second page was bound to not have a first vote. It caused a massive uproar, because BOTH hairstyles for men and women weren't implemented, the second (or even third) place ones were just because of that weird rule.

SE should be upheld to their own contest rules - which every participant agrees to upon entering. As housing is pretty much my endgame and a good portion of the fun I have in game, it was awesome enough just to place (and I wasn't interested in the grand prize moogle lamp) and loads of these were so wonderfully done.

Apologies if this wasn't clear, but as mentioned in the detailed rules, all submissions must be taken from either a player's private chambers or apartment in order to qualify. Entries determined to be taken from other housing areas will be disqualified.

Well I actually don't think this will help new players unless SE goes one step further. Now if they are giving the potions away with base version/collection edition of the game then yes it will help.

As it currently stands price is high enough to stop anyone paying for it straight away, yet it is still low enough for LONG TERM players who want to level an alt and don't want to do the crappy 50 grind on MSQ. Don't get me wrong I loved the story and watched it all and have also watched it again while my son plays it. Now do I want to watch it a third time NO!
