Ceremony Issues?

Not sure if this is the area for this, but tonight is the second time I was unable to do through with my partner for the wedding quest. We arrived an hour before hand and waited to talk to the lady but she didn't have a change in dialogue that my boyfriend got. We figured if he clicked it maybe it would start it up for the both of us but ended up taking him in and leaving me outside. 20 minutes of trying to figure out the issue has let us pretty upset about spending the money and something going wrong.. anyone have any idea what might have been an issue?

Is there any chance one of you guys changing the ceremony decoration or some song or cutscene? Because you guys need to have same option.

Both you and your partner need your ceremony options to match--down to the date and time. When I did mine, both me and my friend I was marrying in-game had to have the same ceremony settings (decorations, music, etc.) AND have matching dates/times. Did you both match up the ceremony date and time?

I'm thinking the times display in YOUR time zone (much like they do on the invites when you give them to guests--the date/time is displayed in the guest's time zone). So, for instance, if you were CST and your boyfriend PST, you would have to pick the corresponding times for your time zone (you want to get married at 4:00pm CST, you would choose 4:00pm CST while your boyfriend would choose 2:00pm PST). If I remember correctly, I'm thinking that's how that part was done. Of course, this would only be an issue if you and your bond mate were not in the same time zone.

Also, were you both in a party together? That is also a pre-requisite.

A friend had an issue come up where one of them was not on a lvl 50+ fighting class. Didn't figure it out until it was past the time. They rescheduled and was able to go through with the wedding on the 2nd round.

Also, make sure you use the blank invitation and have an invitation in your inventory. Make sure you speak to her at the exact time it says on the invitation. At least that's what we had to do.

For me, I had left my invitation on my retainer, which is why me and my OH almost missed our wedding. Make sure you have the invitation to your own wedding xD
