    To the raiders who think this tier is so easy.

    Will you do a Savage Plus Version with cranked up difficulty a lot more mechanics and 0 Rewards?

    0 Rewards means no titles no gear no nothing. Best reward maybe something minuscule like the earring from PotD.
    Since the content difficulty and the challenge is what is rewarding should suffice right?

    When i say 0 rewards i mean 0. You will not get congrats /tell or having to afk showoff. Just the personal achievement that you did it. All gear loot will be achieved in Creator Difficulty tier. Ofc it will be tuned to the highest ilvl possible which mean you have a reason to farm Savage. Also no shared lockouts.Not that it would mean a lot after you farmed Savage for the gear.

    Also to elaborate the idea of this thread came from some top tier raiders namely /u/miunih that found this tier so easy.



    I want to see what the crowd that lurks in the forums think of it.



    The whole idea is that since there are no rewards behind it the casual/midcore crowd will not demand for nerfs since there is no incentive for them to do it (shiny gear etc etc)

    No rewards = no incentives = dead content

    Adding to this, from what I know, the 'hardcore' players usually dedicated around 2-3 hours a day up to 3-4 days a week practicing and doing the savage raids, be it for the clears or just to push themselves even further. But at the end of the road there's still something resemblance of rewards in it.
    So I ask you, if we take ALL forms of rewards out, what would encourage them to do it?

    PS. I do not think this tier is easy, but it's definitely more accessible than previous ones for staticless plebeian such as myself.

    It's not to incentivize the casual/midcore crowd but the true Hardcore who cares for the challenge

    I don't know that there's much of a crowd who cares only for the challenge.

    Second Coil savage was pretty much that, and it didn't exactly set the world on fire, even with a title reward.

    Offer titles for real "Savage" content and let people who won't take the time to learn actual Savage go cry about it. The difficulty of Creator is a breath of fresh air to a community still recovering from A3S. While my group is struggling currently in A11S, I personally consider A9S to be damn near perfect in terms of "Training wheels" for people looking to go into Hard content. All you really need is a few bullet points and knowing your basic rotations for it. No meta or no hardcore melding required. Someone could watch a vid and write down the important bits and they are set if they meet min iLvl. Hit up RF and a few pulls later they are out with a page and possible gear.

    As a raider who's cleared this tier, no, I would not do a harder tier for zero reward. I would not want SE to spend development time on something like that.

    The % of the community that would do harder content for zero reward while it's still current, is likely even less the % that did SCoB for a title, and that was a small enough number of people that SE completely scrapped the notion for FCoB

    Personally, yes. I'd do it just for the challenge.
    Farm it? Why farm it if it has no rewards? I don't get that one.
    But I'd go for speed kills, seeing as we have fflogs nowadays, I'd keep running it to compete for faster kills.
    We didn't have fflogs in 2.3 and there wasn't much incentive to go back besides helping other people.

    But in regards to whether or not this concept is a good idea...
    People will always complain regardless of whether there is a reward or not.
    And I don't see a reason why there should be no reward.
    If they did make an extra mode with ridiculous difficulty, then give it some rewards to give incentive to go in, give people something to work towards to, even if it takes them a while. Having a goal is not a bad thing.
    And giving more people a reason to challenge it makes the content more worthwhile to develop in the first place imo, Titles, Orchestrion rolls, Mounts, Minions, Furniture, Dye-able versions or gear maybe or sth similar?

    I do feel like top post on reddit sums this thread up pretty well though.

    Those people are an even smaller percentage of players.

    Didn't Coil Savage drop nothing and lead to very, very little participation.
