Obnoxious new RMT advertisement strategy?

It happened to me 2 days ago. Yesterday I got nothing. The thing is how do they find you? I was in Ishgard and doing stuff in HW area and I got the invites. I checked their location and they were in New Gridania. How did they find me? I went to go look for them, but I couldn't find them.

It probably goes in alphabetic order when searching for player names. Only way I can think of.

There's a window where you can do a player search.
Including filters for classes/jobs/area/level/GC/language.

They probably go through that systematically on their bots.

If you look at the date/time I posted it's within 10 mins of the oldest one - they probably posted it around the time I was forumlating my post. I was going to delete this when I saw the the other post that was around the same time as mine but SE didn't make it easy to find the delete thread option so I let it get buried. Blame the person that decided to post to a 2 day old post.

Edit: And as far as I can tell there is no way to delete the first post. (I see a delete option for this post but it wasn't available on my initial post)

My mistake. It was early in the morning (for me).
