Reads the forums often...rarely post
Got one 5 mins after logging on, sigh and it was so nice not getting tells
Now we are back to square one![]()
I'm actually pretty impressed, they do evolve quickly xD
it's a bit sad to see all those idea used to make illegal activities instead of doing something legal :/
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
They should not allow level 1s to initiate a party invite. They can be invited to a party, but cannot actually make a party of their own. Or place a level limit until you actually hit your first dungeon (whatever level that may be when you actually unlock Sastasha through MSQ). Then, I guess, lower levels could still group up if they are legit players.
I'm bad at explaining:
- Level 1 can invite a level 1 to party.
- Level 1 cannot invite a level 10 to a party; the level 10 can invite the level 1.
- Level 15 hits Sastasha and can invite any level now.
- Level 40 cannot invite a level 41 because they never did the MSQ to unlock their first dungeon. The level 40 can invite a level 39 or lower to party.
Basically, add two flags that restrict invites. First flag being lower or equal value of current level to initiate invite. The second flag being Sastasha unlocked (not completed).
Not sure what you mean "bypasses the games filter for bans" - a ban is a ban, is a ban. If you are banned, you cannot login. This simply forces us to resort to the older way to report RMT, which some players ceased using because it was easier to ignore RMT. This is much less easy to ignore and should result in a bunch of reports to SE.
I'm guessing what they mean is a keyphrase catcher that would find and ban characters automatically. Notice how most RMTs use special characters or symbols to advertise? However, I could see character names being exempt from this rule, which would be where the issue is.Not sure what you mean "bypasses the games filter for bans" - a ban is a ban, is a ban. Gonna bump this thread so it gets more attention. It's starting to become daily...
I have not experienced any yet, but I'm 99.9% time in party already with at least my chocobo, so maybe that's why I've been spared or maybe it does not affect Moogle Server much.
I noticed this. Would really like an option to block all invites from characters below a self-specified level. I actually took the time to report them (since you can't just right-click their name as they haven't said anything).
Easiest way is to fix this to expand the report feature so that it's an option whenever right-clicking a name in your chat log and not just when a character speaks.
