    True, but they'll just delete their characters and make another one to start over.

    ESO's mitigation for this is to limit you to 3 character deletes and each one only re-gens after 24 hours .. not ideal for someone trying to create multiple characters in an alt-based game but in FFXIV I don't see it being really a big problem.
