I think the easiest fix would be to add a quick report option for character names that violate the terms of service and block people who are flagged from party invites. Basically the same thing SE already set up for tells.

Could they not code in an exception rule for names or strings in names? Like don't allow a first or last name to have 'pvp' in succession, or something like that. Or is that too much coding? I know nothing about it.
Pretty sure they've already got filters set up for 'disallowed names', it would just be a matter of adding specific strings to those filters.

Yep...got one of these yesterday.
Friend/recruitment code for special items and things (use before paying first sub) RACN78W5 (updated) info on items here http://sqex.to/Cz9 code is entered via the mogstation.

I got one today and I reported it. Back to filling my blacklist and reporting.
Reads the forums often...rarely post
Got one 5 mins after logging on, sigh and it was so nice not getting tells
Now we are back to square one![]()
I'm actually pretty impressed, they do evolve quickly xD
it's a bit sad to see all those idea used to make illegal activities instead of doing something legal :/
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.

They should not allow level 1s to initiate a party invite. They can be invited to a party, but cannot actually make a party of their own. Or place a level limit until you actually hit your first dungeon (whatever level that may be when you actually unlock Sastasha through MSQ). Then, I guess, lower levels could still group up if they are legit players.
I'm bad at explaining:
- Level 1 can invite a level 1 to party.
- Level 1 cannot invite a level 10 to a party; the level 10 can invite the level 1.
- Level 15 hits Sastasha and can invite any level now.
- Level 40 cannot invite a level 41 because they never did the MSQ to unlock their first dungeon. The level 40 can invite a level 39 or lower to party.
Basically, add two flags that restrict invites. First flag being lower or equal value of current level to initiate invite. The second flag being Sastasha unlocked (not completed).

Gonna bump this thread so it gets more attention. It's starting to become daily...
I have not experienced any yet, but I'm 99.9% time in party already with at least my chocobo, so maybe that's why I've been spared or maybe it does not affect Moogle Server much.
