Suggestions on which server to transfer to.

I've recently transfered from Tonberry to Phoenix because I had a close friend playing over there but she stopped playing a few weeks ago & the server is pretty much dead whenever I play due to the time zone I'm playing at (+7 GMT)

I've not the slightest clue on which servers has the most population or which server is most friendly so I have 3 options.

I've considered transferring to Hyperion. But are there active free companies there playing at my time zone?

Or should I just transfer back to my old JP servers since it probably has the most chances of people playing in my time zone?

Or is there any friendly & active free companies on any servers willing to house me that are playing around my time zone? (This would benefit me a lot!)

Any other advice would be very much appreciated! ^^

To answer your question, Hyperion does have FC's that are active all day and night long.
Heck my own has a handful of +5 GMT people, even though I'm -5 myself.
Though it's noticeably lesser than my own peak time. As much as I welcome new people, it may not be what you're looking for.

Balmung and Gilgamesh are overloaded at all times of day, won't ever have problems finding active people on those 2.

They're also the hardest servers to get in. Ive been watching the character restrictions so closely now, i could give stalkers a run for their money

The reason I left Tonberry so easily just to join my friend over in phoenix was because I had no attachments to Tonberry. I'm interested in Hyperion because I heard it's a legacy server which means people who transfers there will not be able to transfer to a non-legacy server. Which would in turn means that statisticly there "should" be more players stuck/trapped in Hyperion.

This is old, outdated information from the era of the introduction of the world transfer system. It was originally a move meant to protect the economies of non-legacy servers, but they've long since lifted those restrictions.

Source: I transferred my legacy character from Hyperion to where my main is on Ultros. I debate regretting a number of decisions that led up to this.

EDIT: If they've since reinstated those restrictions, however, I've no knowledge of it at this time and haven't heard anything in that regard.
