R50 bows

Crab+1 on istory are 1.3m now >.< dirt cheap because......................
+1 crab bow give +7att and +7acc over NQ bow
+2bow gives +13att and +15acc over NQ bow
+3 gives ??att ??acc over NQ bow. If anyone has one and knows please post stats!

Even when SE puts out a new r50 bow, the NQ wont be as good as a +2 crab bow for sure, and if it takes a rank50 crp and NM mats to craft it,,, be sure the NQ will be over 20M.. so go buy a +2 crab for 7m and youll be happy

Really hope they come out with artifact weapons or armor. REALLY hope they are good pieces of eqp for r50+

+3 would give either +19, or +20 attack and +25 accuracy.

Here is how HQ works:
+1 adds 5% extra to each stat with a star next to it. This would be like your attack and acc on your bow.
+2 adds 10% extra
+3 adds 15% extra

The game rounds up when there's a decimal, usually. Example below:

NQ Crab bow:
127 attack

+1 Crab bow:
127 attack x 1.05 = 133.35 attack, rounded up to 134. This is +7 attack

+2 Crab bow:
127 attack x 1.1 = 139.7 attack, rounded up to 140. This is +13 attack.


And to the original poster... You should be happy that you have a R47 bow. As a THM, the highest rank weapon i can get is R44 and it sucks. You either use the R43 brands if you're trying to deal damage cuz the higher potency, or the Ornate Silver Scepter which is R41 if you're wanting Magic Accuracy for landing debuffs (you use this weapon for endgame usually). I wish we had a R47 weapon.

And to answer your question, Obiar, the stats you gain from a high quality item are not shown on the item itself. It will still say the same attack and accuracy on the bow, it will just have 1, 2, or 3 stars next to certain stats. If you equip the bow, however, and then look at your total attack and accuracy stats in the information panel, you will see the stat increase of +5% per star.

It really sucks that HQ does NOT add str,dex,mnd etc... it seems HQ only adds defense and evasion on ALL eqp too ; ;

on Fabul a +1 is 1Million last time i checked and a +2 goes for about 7.5M, I've seen a few +3 but not for sale, I don't like the way the crab bow looks and just stick with my Yew Bow +1 yeah it's plain but I still do more Damage with it than a NQ Crab Bow so ehh, i'm holding out for new ones. It seems unfair though MRD LNC GLA THM PUG all get 50 rank weapons I think CON does to i'm not sure, but Archers get nothing, in fact choices in attire stop with Bowmen's gear and Toad Skin Leggings. it seem's Archer is left out when it comes to "Endgame" at this point, unless you count bucaneer gear which I don't because it really doesn't look like an Archer.

What exactly does the +3 give you? The stats are still the same.

Yes it does. No matter what kind of equipment it is, it has the same effect, be it a DoL tool, a DoH tool, armor, or a weapon. Any time there is 1, 2, or 3 stars next to a stat it is increased by 5%, 10%, or 15% respectively. This means a +3 needle would give your weaver 15% more craftsmanship bonus over what the needle says it gives, just like a +3 helmet would give +15% more defense to a DoW class.

Are you 100%sure it only adds the 5,10,and 15% to ONLY the stats with the stars beside it?

I think you may be right because i tested a +2bowmans tunic over the NQ one and it didnt give me any +str or dex ; ;

i don't understand why there are still archers running around with NQ bows. the accuracy boost alone should be enough to buy one. hope they're not waiting for +3's to go down in price lol
