    new arrows concept ?

    how about ARC/BRD arrows become Magic Arrow consume 1mp/shot (dmg depend on wep and dmg is magic physical dmg) and the items craft from ALC will add elemental dmg as Fire, Ice, Wind etc when equip them ?


    Benefit:

    new concept
    no need to refill arrows or worry about it
    Dmg inrease by elemental


    edit: items craft from ALC is consume/shot

    I'd actually prefer if they completely removed the need for arrows, most MMO's are doing this now, for several reasons.
    1 A class shouldn't have to pay to output damage.
    2 Free's up inventory space.

    What with skills scaling to level now it makes sense that arrows would be unlimited and scale in a similar fashion.

    I'm sure many people will turn their nose up at this suggestion, but thought I'd mention it regardless.

    I do agree that elemental shot would be a cool addition to the class/job.

    yes, I expect many will against this and drop this thread but I speak out my mind regardless. And my Idea is you dont need arrows but you can pay for Extra Dmg output

    Let archer still use arrows
    But bring more different arrows
    Crit arrows, poison arrows, element arrows, sleep arrows, silence arrows, holy arrows, dark arrows, stun arrows and more ^^
    And let them equip the arrows without reloading the char model everytime

    I disagree with the removal of ammo, I think it is a mistake most mmos are making removing it.

    But I greatly agree on adding more types of arrow. Status effect ones, Elemental ones, thing like that.

    So basically flood our inventory with even more crap.

    It would make more sense to have skills which added the magical effect of poison to an arrow instead of taking up more inventory space with poisoned arrows.

    Why is it a mistake exactly that MMO's are removing arrows ?

    Because it doesn't make sense unless they make it such that we're shooting magical arrows...which the lore has so far made no mention of.

    I agree with this.

    If anything, arrows should take up their own inventory space. Turn it into a series of quest, the first of which gets you a starter quiver, capable of holding X stacks of arrows. Each addition quest, expanded its capable.
