RMT taking control on Gathering market

Something strange is happening on Ragnark since patch 3.4 and i wonder if other server are concerned and/or if its something new.

The fact:

For about 2 weeks, some strange retainers with classic RMT names (random letters which result in name like "dfiufjp" or any crap like that) are spamming the market with full 99 stack comming from almost all the legendary nodes (Luminium Ore, Zeolit, Lumythrit, Star Cotton Boll...)

The result is quite simple: prices are dropping crazy and at this rate, it will be nearly impossible to earn descent money from legendary gathering.

At first, i was wondering "are they really RMT or maybe there is some crazy legit player who are on legendendary nodes 7/7 24h/24??"

But the fact is, there is not one, not two, but many retainers with random names "klgrhfvn" and they are all new and are spamming the market for about 2 weeks.

Another fact... at the same time, i noticed new shouts in the citys for a RMT site (www.Ga.... im not writting the exact url here) and it was the first time there was shout for this specific RMT site on Ragnarok (usually we always had shouts for 2 other RMT site, but not this one).

Of course, there is no 100% evidence, but come on, how can the gathering market suddenly be crowded with stack of 99 all the day when it was never the case the last two years?

Maybe im wrong, but for me it sound like RMT are generating gils on Ragnarok by spamming the legendary nodes.

So, am i the only one to notice that?
Is there somethign similar on the other servers?

I haven't noticed the MB, I'll take a look to see if the same is happening on Malboro.

But have you noticed the FCs? RMT is creating a lot of FCs, with closed recruitiment in all worlds, with random names like "nPoNvkI". All are rank 8 in a matter of a few days, and I believe they are using the "members" to gather and sell things.

That's strange. Ever since 3.4 I have gotten 1 single rmt tell and only heard 1 shout in a city. Frankly the amount of rmt spam has slowly been decreasing and seemed to just bottom out with the implementation of right-click reporting. And I just checked our mb, we do not seem to have this issue on Sargatanas.

That being said, we do have 1 player that everyone swore was a bot, they seem to constantly be gathering at any hour of the day you log in, many people have reported them and still they are there and now and then you will even get them to respond to you if you /poke or /dance for them enough.

I've seen 2 bot users at the Noble Sage node near Tailfeather the last 3-4 days, they always pull up on a bird in exactly the same spot and it's kinda suspect tbh ><

and someone crafting via somehow while afk, it wasn't quick synthing, they were macro crafting but each craft started and finished and the afk never shifted, that was in Limsa at 5am this morning

Yesterday, i clearly identified RMT FC on Ragnarok, i guess its one of them who spam the market board.

Every server might gave a different situation, but here on Ragnarok, we have more RMT today than before patch 3.4.
They even spam the crafting market, now we have tons of i250 items with the same random "mskljgskj" retainers names.

Its very for obvious for us, players, to detect the rmt and i reported many of them, i hope SE will check the situation quickly.

On my server we don't have RMT, but we do have a bot or two that goes completely unbanned for several months now.

Especially this one "player". Has had the same exact gear since last year, stands in the same exact spot every day, almost all day long.
They use some kind of auto-attack nearest enemy macro on repeat. A summoner.

They gather Fleece, and then sell it 99 stacks. There are hundreds of stacks for like 99 gil per 1 fleece on the MB. Like 20 stacks of 99 Fleece per retainer.

This player will ignore all outside stimulus and, if I pull an enemy toward them, they automatically attack it. They auto-attack whatever is closest.

I have sent in over 20 reports of this "player". Both in English and Japanese.
But nothing has been done. It's very annoying, when I want Fleece and want to go to the best location, this auto-attack / macro / bot is ALWAYS there.

Today I sent in a Harassment report, hoping to talk to a GM directly, on the the grounds that the player is harassing legitimate players by interfering with their ability to gather materials.

But no GM has contacted or done anything. I do not understand why they allow this behavior!!

I never see RMT /tells anymore. On Jenova there are still RMT /s spamers in every starting city market, none on Sarganatas.

Haven't seen randomish retainer names, have seen a LOT of full 99 stacks on one retainer or another. I suspect a duping exploit, but never bothered to search for one.

What's the population on Ragnarok? Sarganatas is 3rd - 4th highest population on Aether, Jenova 4th - 6th.

population on Ragnarok is very high for EU, think it's the biggest, but there are soo many gil bots, stand in Limsa for 10 minutes and you'll Blacklist and report 4 easily, sometimes nothing happens for hours, even during the day, It's annoying, I rightclick and report when the feature shows (not sure why it's not always there) and then blacklist them, I still have named bots on my BL after a week of reporting... and during the night, it's even worse, less people on = more room for botters and gil bots to spam their bile... ><

Won't lie, got mixed feelings on this. One hand, I HATE HATE the Folklore crap. On the other, crashing a market is no good...

A lot of low-level items can be straight bought off a vendor on the cheap and resold on the MB for a pretty penny. I did it with Iron Ore for awhile a few months ago, and earned well over 1M Gil.

Similarly, if I use the Eorzea Clock app to farm a folklore node, I can build up quite a few stacks of a given item in a day or two. I've also been known to buy out people who severely undercut. I haven't quite been able to corner any of the markets (too many Gil sinks in this game), but I have been able to raise the floor a bit with some success.

Point being, seeing retainers with even 10-15 full stacks of something is not inconceivable.
