Corrupted Character Data

I was on my PS4 suspended FFXIV real quickto watch a video on youtube. I go back to FF and try to log back in and its saying my data iscorrupted. I really wanna try to save this file. Its my first endgame character and I really dont wanna start ffom scratch again

Your character data is not saved on your ps4, so I'd just reinstall the game. Unsure why it would corrupt your data, I've tabbed out plenty of times when I used my playstation

Have an FC member going through this exact same problem right now that's a PS4 user as well. Character data can become corrupted server side. He filed a ticket with SE's support and they "restored" his character where it again shows up on his log in screen but he is still unable to log into the game on said character, nor does it even show the character in his account on mog station anymore. After trying to contact customer support further they dropped the matter...FF14's customer support is horrid in handling this issue, wish you the best of luck on getting your character back.

Are you sure its not just your character configuration?

If so, this is just your hotbars, settings, macros, gearsets etc.
Just delete this, you'll have to sort all those settings out again but you wont lose story progress and such, annoying as hell i know, its happened to me, start backing it up.
