It is progression. It is not the same start with 1 skill, then get another and go learning little by little, than get suddenly 40 skills. For example, a Gladiator start with Fast Blade, later learn Savage Blade. He can see how can combo with the first Fast Blade. More ahead learn Rage of Halone, and he can learn use the competle combo. Little by little is learning the skills. It is easier notice a skill when you learn it. But, if you use a level 60 potion. You find yourself suddenly at level 60 with 40 skills, and you do not know where start from. If at least you had before a level 60 class you can start form there, but for a totally new player?

I don't think a tutorial will help on this. This is learning by doing the leveling dungeons in the story. If you ask me, I don't want a totally new player start directly Stormblood with 0 idea of the game. It is not fair for us, neither for the new player, because will be totally lost.

If they need add a jump potion, I prefer they put a requisite of having at least one character at 60 or having to do all the MSQ and all the Class quest.

Also, old content is not dead. The only dead thing is the Coil, but due to the high difficult for a Duty Finder party. Roulettes are the best idea for keeping the old content working.
