    Which Stats Are Worth Focusing?

Like, is that extra point in Skill Speed going to help?
    Do I need Accuracy points?
How much is an extra few Strength points going to help my DPS?

Obviously, I don't want those specific questions answered, I just don't really know how many areas I should try and cover early on in the game, if any, or how much; Kinda feeling overwhelmed trying to learn this entire game lol..

Weapon damage is by far the most important stat

Next comes your primary attribute, which is VIT for tanks, STR for melee (except rogues), DEX for ranged physical DPS and rogues, INT for offensive casters, and MND for healers.

Finally, there's the assortment of secondary attributes. These DO matter, and you may even want to take a hit on your primary attribute to ensure you get the secondary stats you want... but not until you hit the level cap. Before that point, just aim for the most weapon damage and primary attribute, which basically means wear things suited for your class and go for the highest item level you can.

Yeah, what Urth said. Until you get to level 60 you can get away with just wearing the highest item level gear you have all the time and ignore the stats. Given the chance, upgrade your weapon at the earliest convenient times since it makes the most difference.

And dont feel TOO overwhelmed trying to learn everything. You dont have to know it all right away. Just figure out the things as you use them and youll be fine.

Ironically, these are questions that most players would like answered, including myself, but it's always been very difficult to determine that. I can say that just 1 point of Physical damage on a weapon is worth about 7 of your primary stat at Level 50 and about 15 at Level 60. Of course, at lower levels such as 20, it's probably only worth 3 at most, but that gives you an idea of how huge it is.

Focus on getting higher level gear. Urth nailed the basic stats dead on (pleasssssse don't be that archer wearing strength rings, they don't help lol).

The game scales well enough where you don't need to worry too much about min/maxing until 60. Even then you only need to worry if doing the hard end-game content. For casual players (no offense), the upgrade paths are fairly linear.

hmmm you may have your answer by now but keep in mind that each class's stats don't cross to the other. If you played XI this is nothing like that...
and the game tells you what is what for the most part, if you put your mouse on stuff it tells you what is what so you don't have to waste time on stuff you don't need for that class

While it may be a bit on the advanced side from where you are now (at low levels, focus on your main stat - STR, DEX, whatever you job requires), it's not bad to know roughly how much substats improve your DPS once you're capped on levels. On average, it takes 4 to 6 Crit, Det, or Skill/Spell speed to improve your damage as much as a single point of main stat, with Crit typically being the best DPS substat for any job (there are exceptions - in particular, BLM, who gets unusually good mileage out of Spell Speed).

For most content, Accuracy is completely meaningless. Only in endgame raids and Ex Primals is Accuracy a factor at all, and for those cases you want to have pretty much exactly as much Accuracy as it takes to ensure a 100% hit rate, and no more.

Parry stat is currently in a bad place; the amount it mitigates damage is nothing short of pitiful, and most tanks consider it to be a waste of a stat, preferring to take Crit, Det, or Skill Speed. SE has mumbled about fixing the stat to make it relevant, but so far have not. For non-tanks, it pretty much goes without saying that Parry is terrible.
