[Just for Fun] Player Habits?

Thanks for the responses and feedback, guys and gals! Since someone asked about mine, I'll oblige. ALSO I DID ADD ONE I CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT. D=

1. As someone that's a Mega Man fan, I can't resist jumping over zone lines.
2. Most of the time I'm spamming jump. And probably annoying people. I just can't be still most of the time. Of course if I'm running heals I'll make sure to refresh buffs when I can.
3. This question is actually the originator of the idea for this thread. Depending on my mood, I'll teleport or take the left staircase. After the trash pack is done though, I've recently made it a point to take the right staircase. I'm surprisingly one of few that do so in most groups.
4. Again, this is dependent on my mood. If I feel like goofing off I'll spam-click the teleporter. If I see that people are actually kind of friendly at the beginning, I'll be polite and appropriate and run to the first pack.
5. I drop down every time. I tend to forget there's even a ramp in some of these areas.
6. Generally speaking, I try to be friendly enough to say hello at least, and since I'm shy I really don't speak up unless I feel like I can either help or if I feel comfortable enough to talk.
7. Depending on the content, 90% of the time I'm usually the last man standing and I'm usually pushing myself as hard as I can to do my part to salvage things. Then there's that 10% of the time that I've messed up and died BEFORE the wipe happens.
8. I dance. That's one thing I can't get enough of in this game is the variety of dance emotes you can get. I admit though when I get frozen in Shiva I'm horrible about getting the timing down and never get an emote off.

Just go through it.

2. Between pulls in a dungeon do you jump, prep buffs for the next pull, both, anything else?
Nothing. I might prep buffs.
But in Thornmarch, when the moogles all start dancing I use /mogdance.

3. If/When/The last time you did/do Syrcus Tower, before and/or after the first trash pack, did/do you take the left staircase or the right? (Or impatiently spam-click the teleporter because screw walking.)
I don't know about other data centers, but in ours A alliance always goes left and C goes right.
If I am in B alliance I just follow the leader.

4. On a related note, for Labyrinth and Syrcus Tower, do you walk/run to the first trash pack or do you use the teleporter?
I walk or run. Depends on my mood.

5. When you have to go to an area that's set below you in ARR zones (Camp Drybone, Witchdrop, 789th Order Dig, etc.), do you take the "intended" exit/entrance ramp or just drop down?
I almost always use the intended exit / entrance ramp.

6. In dungeons, are you chatty, just say hello and goodbye/good game, do you not say anything, or do you wait until something goes wrong to speak up?
I always say "hello" （よろしくお願いします）and "good game"（お疲れ様でした～）.
If I notice there are people in my server in my group, or if one other person is a friend or FC member I will talk more.

7. In a wipe, are you likely to be the person that caused it, the last man standing, a casualty of the wipe-causing mechanic, the person that tries to salvage the fight, or do you see the inevitable and give up early?
The person that tries to salvage the fight. Even if the fight requires two tanks I will pop Keen Flurry and Shade Shift and try to use Max-Potions and Second Wind as much as possible to take damage.
When I am ninja I am rarely the last one standing because I am often 2nd on hate list, so the boss will come to me next.
I never give up early unless I am in a raid and raid leader says "wipe and start over", because we have limited time.

8. In trials, during a boss's ultimate attack, what do you do? Dance, emote, buff, anything else? Feel free to include Shiva's Diamond Dust as a separate case because getting frozen in different poses is half the fun.
In Thornmarch I do /mogdance. Other than that, nothing.

But, when I get petrified in the Aetherochemical Research Facility, I always take a screenshot.

I main MCH, and I always move to a high vantage point and pretend that I'm a sniper.

I almost always jump over the zone dots.

I don't really do any poses for trials except Moggle Mog. I always join the moogles in dancing. I'm so happy for the mog dance!

I pretty much always take the plunge when I have to get to a lower place. I like to think of myself as a person who would take the intended route though.

   Chatty depends on the group. If they are rushers I usually dont say anything.

1. I'm boring. I just walk through it as if I were flying.

2. I mostly just follow the tank. If I'm tanking, I don't wait- I'm immediately running to the next trash. I'm used to trying to help keep a monk/ninja/summoner's grease/huton/stacks.

3. I race everyone! :> I think I take the right stairs the most, though.

4. I still race everyone, popping sprint twice. If I'm on dragoon, I elusive jump as soon as the barrier drops, turn, pop sprint and race!

5. Depends on how much of a rush I'm in. If I'm doing something like grabbing nodes for mats for housing items, I'm impatient. I'll just drop down. Just like I tend to follow paths unless I'm in a rush.

6. I usually just do /egreeting at the start and /bow at the end. I'm not very talkative in game, but I don't want to seem rude either.

7. I'm that person who tries to salvage the run to the bitter end. During the first week of Mhachi, I was that insane healer keeping one other person up on the last boss from 70% until its dead.

8. I used to dance, but if I'm on scholar, I blow all my healing buffs and try for that critlo to spread for that juicy 0 damage.

I don't usually jump unless I have to, so no on the zone lines.

I don't usually do anything in between pulls except run, the jobs I frequent don't have much to prep.

I usually stand by the teleporter and wait for it to activate so I can take the lazy way forward and still get there in the middle of the pack. XD

If there's a choice of staircases I don't always pay attention but if I do I'll take the opposite from the one most people take.

When I'm tanking Fractal, I always go left in the final section. Most people go right, and see my above comment. XD

I always make sure I greet at the start of a dungeon, and at the end if I can. I'm chatty sometimes, especially when I'm running with a friend, but not always.

I'm often the last man standing in wipes, unless I'm the tank, then I'm the first to die (because that's usually how wipes happen) I always found this especially fun to do when playing drg. So many times have I run circles in that one room in AV waiting for the rest of the party to run back. XD

And if it's a trial or a boss fight and it's a lost cause I usually do the Manderville as I'm waiting to be killed. If you're gonna go out, you wanna go out in style, amirite? XD (yes I put the Manderville on my combat hotbars especially so I can do this).

I don't usually do anything special during a boss' ultimate, but I might start! I do always dance on the elevators in ARF. And I often take screenshots during the time stops in A12.

1. Depends on how much in a hurry I am. If I have enough time to play on that day I try to jump it.
