Suggestion: Friend List

As some of you know, when you want a "fresh" start, but don't want to change servers due to the hefty gil restrictions, you delete your friend list and change your name, then possibly change your character with a Fantasia. The problem with that is your name is not removed from the other player's list and is then changed to your new name.

Another example would be adding someone as a friend and then ending up not liking them or just never talking to them. There's no point in keeping them on your list, especially if you add them to your blacklist.

I don't know about you, but I dislike this setting entirely. If I want to change my name to wipe the slate clean, per se, then I want nobody to know my new name unless I leave them on my friend list or add them back to it later.

Could you PLEASE make it an option to where if you remove someone from your friend list that it forces your name off of their respective friend list?

I've always thought it a bit odd, that in a system where we have to give permission before someone can put us on their friend list, we don't have the means to withdraw that permission.
