And think of how many more people would probably buy stuff if they could actually buy what they want!I can kinda see it but in a way its also one of those "tempting" deals, sure if you can't get a burger alone 1 place most people have another option down the block but when it comes to this, you only have one place. Either you'll never crack and buy it or temptation will overcome you and you purchase it just for it alone.
We just have to hope SE could split them reasonably..
Only thing to be aware of though is if your expecting them to split the cost, expect to pay more for the entire set if its bought seperate. As in your example of $3.75 per item, expect it to be more along $5 or $6 a piece. I mean if your okay with that then all good but that is why fast food will try to upsell the combo to "save you money" which in return is still more profit.

BUT if you never wanted the fries and drink in the first place, you're still "saving money" even if individually the burger costs more than it would as part of the bundle.Only thing to be aware of though is if your expecting them to split the cost, expect to pay more for the entire set if its bought seperate. For the same reason any business would have separate sales. More profit. Because the people who don't want to pay for everything and only want to pay for some will buy if they can.
Which means more money for SE. People who want to buy Y'shtolas boots only and don't want the whole set won't want to buy it. But they'd buy if they could have it separately.
Refer to the Burger bundle example used throughout the thread.

My only complaint is I can't add things to a cart and bulk buy. :<

I agree with the bundle split, but you know what else would be great? An option to try them on in game. A lot of MMOs have that option, why can't XIV? I've been looking at Thancred's hair but I have NO idea how it would look on me. I don't want to drop money on it and it turns out it looks terrible.

Sorry, there are betters ways, like asking if I would actually like to make it a value meal. Just assuming I want one and asking me what size I would like is rude IMO, so I will respond in kind.
Ask me - "Would you like that in a value meal?"
...and I'll answer "No thanks, just the sandwich."
You didn't say that though, you responded to that person rudely.
If you said it in the other way then it's gravy but okay.
Sorry for OT posting, I'm done now lol.

wow....you sound like a "winner"Me: Can I get a double cheeseburger?
Order Taker: Sure. Would you like that small, medium, or large?
Me: Small, medium, or large what?
Order Taker: Value meal.
Me: ...
Order Taker: ...
Me: Did I ask for a value meal?
Order Taker: But you save blah blah blah...
Me: Did I ask for a value meal?
Order Taker: ...
Me: Then no, I'll have a double cheeseburger.
...actual conversation I once had years ago at a drive-thru.
