Muscle Sliders please

I will support every character customisation thread. Character screen is too limited and poor for a large MMORPG like FFXIV. I will wait till all Bloodstorm is revealed but at least till now we have no hints that a revised character screen is coming or more character customisation option and slider are coming in 4.0. I do not count more hairstyles as an option. We need better bodies, more options for bodies, more faces, eyes etc. I will not even bring what other rival MMORPGs have for character customisation. Even some way cheaper with lower budget MMORPGs have way more options for character creation. If this game wants to improve they need to look into those issues as well. 4 faces to choose from in game with million of characters created is really poor.

Please, this so much. Not sure how it'd work on Lalas tho I wouldn't mind at least a very very veeeeeeeeeery slight hint of definition for Lalafell boys (since it's not like we'll ever have an even slightly different body type so, drawing it is when I wanna stray from forever pudgy...), I do think the other races could definitely use a muscle slider. Never was I able to understand why is this a Hyur only thing (not sure if Roes though, forgive me if they do have it); doesn't any other race bench press or---?

The reason only Roegadyn and Hyur have Muscle sliders is because they lack tails (Au Ra and Miqo'te Tail Sliders) and Ears (Elezen and Lalafell Ear sliders) This is why other races don't get them as they have their own specific slider. If these races were given a muscle slider, than they have an additional slider and variable information that hyur and Roegadyn don't have and there would then be customization imbalance. It's also why Au Ra can change Limbal Rings at the Aesthetician as they are equivalent to Tattoos on other races.

I would love uniformity of customization, but if every race gets muscle sliders, Hyur and Roegadyn would need another special feature to make them equivalent in customization to the races that have multiple sliders. This is just a fact.

I see where you're coming from, makes sense. I just still find it silly that every other race is 'banned from the gym' so to speak; even when the reason you give is definitely valid and I agree, it still sucks for anyone who has a different image of how their characters look or simply just wants to make them a little better defined.

More costumization in general and all across the board would definitely be a welcome addition to the game. Not that I'll be holding my breath for new faces, new eye shapes or anything of the like (most likely we'll just keep increasing Jandelaine's haircut library with--even more hair [not necessarily a bad thing but please SE...] ) but can't say I wouldn't love to see that / get more options in general for 4.0
