I'm sure this has been discussed before, and I've browsed around a bit to see what people think about it. I will probably bring up both suggestions and questions that have been replied to before, but I hope I can at least bring something new to the discussion. ^^
For a fantastic game with nice graphics like FF XIV, I find the glamours system a bit lacking. First of all, there are tons of gear that look cool in the game. For those who want to collect and keep all of these pieces of gear just in case they want to use it for glamour, inventory space is going to run out quickly. The prisms aren't a problem, but I can't say that they help either.
EDIT (Thanks for the heads up Canadane!):
Wouldn't a wardrobe system be better? I don't know how hard it'd be on the servers to kind of "store" all of the gear (minus recolors) in some kind of wardrobe log. If you could trade in your gear there to "store" it for future usage, the storage problem would be solved. The glamours system would also become easier - you just pick what you want from the wardrobe, and you can still pay in prisms. Right now, you need to keep all the gear that you may want to glamour, and then you need to try them on separately since it's pretty hard to remember how each of them actually look. Basically, it'd be like adding a collection minigame for those who like the fashion aspect of this game. Adding gear would bind it to your character, but add it permanently to the wardrobe.
I'm sure this question has been answered before too, but I'm a bit confused regarding the different glamour restrictions. Why can't DoM equip DoW glamour? You can play all classes on one character, so that can't be the problem. (Model-wise) Is it the animations? Is it so people won't become confused? I mean, I look at the class/job icon more often than what gear they have equipped.
