So my question now is this I was on another post arguing about a skip potion and I was agaisnt it so really everyone says the content is outdated. So if its all about the new content then why not then running stuff unsync is essentially just that a skip potion. When I fought titan extreme I cleared it sure, but I was dead when I did if thats all that it takes then we might as well let new players skip all the content because nobody cares to do it. With content being outdated there is pretty much no argument for not having a skip potion.
Sadly, sync or unsync is not going to fix awareness. If the new DPS was failing that many mechanics than it would take a patient mentor to take the time to explain and wait.
And if this DPS had the bonus message, he must have been doing really bad for the other guy to forgo potential second chance points.
As moururii said, it's more beneficial to get caught up with everyone in heavensward than continue to bang your head against pre-hw content. The current game design caters to players constantly improving themselves at max level and using those skills to faceroll old content.
Also, if you want to do content sync'd, try to use the party finder. You may find the eccentric group of friends who like sync'd content.
Well I just read another post on the forum and it mention that there will be a jump potion , was so against this and now after seeing how most of this content isnt relevant , I guess I agree with it nowSadly, sync or unsync is not going to fix awareness. The whole idea that 50 content should prepare you for "end game" content needs scraped from your mind. Back then, 50 content and "end game" content was the same. You learned by progressing through the end game from trials to coils. People have and will do the same at 60.
Also, At 60 your tool kit, and those around you, expands! The game changes for many classes. Look at Bard for example. It's a bow mage now that wants to use empyreal arrow as much as possible and to keep dots up with iron jaws! The blood letter proc is still there, but it's raw mobility and weave time has died down significantly (thank god for feint.)

It's not a crime to want to play the content. But your assertion about the longer-time players not wanting/welcoming new players doesn't seem to me to be true at all. And you can't blame them for not wanting to be forced to do old (to them) content unsync'd. Many people have already pointed out to you how you could find like-minded people to "play the old content as SE intended"(tm). If that doesn't work out, maybe it's a sign to move along to the newer stuff that maybe they are interested in. You can't expect people to want to repeat things, especially not if the only payoff is some newcomers get to experience some content the same way they did 3 years ago. It's just not compelling. And from what they say, not even necessary as the gameplay at 50 doesn't really match the gameplay at 60. So why not just enjoy it for what it is rather than obsess over what it used to be?
But the thing is people do que for this I just qued tonight for king moogle extreme we whiped twice and everybody quit. I didnt even die until everyone else had the first time. Like what is the point in this content still being in the game it cost money to keep it there is nobody wants to do it then take it out and have money for other stuff like everyone wants. Im not tryin to relive something that I cant, but this is eight man content Im talkin about even if like tonight I was doing well , it doesnt matter if the whole team isnt people will just quit and thats lame. Nobody is gona force me to join content that it took everyone else years to get to Ill make it to hw this year, but ill do it on my own time. Its just stupiid how people complain about players not being good when they will just leave a dungeon , or abandon a trail with literally 40 mins left but they will do satsha for thiry mins np its stupid.

the vast majority of the cost in content is initial development, not keeping it around. Removing it isn't going to free up a pile of cash to plow into new content. And it's hard to imagine a less expensive way to breathe new life into old content than to allow people who out-gear and out-level it to go back with an undersized crew and slaughter it for drops of some sort. Which is apparently what they have done. You can either accept that for what it is or continue to be frustrated that you aren't getting the same experience the veteran players did years ago. Why choose to be frustrated? You've been told repeatedly that this old content doesn't really do anything to meaningfully prepare one for the new content, so why keep throwing that out there? I would think you'd be a lot happier with this stuff if you would let some of your preconceived notions go and run with what (and who) there is...

I can't defend the attitude of people not helping out and supporting newbies, but there are already many systems in place to encourage better treatment of new players. Unfortunately some people just aren't willing, it can't be helped unless they're especially abusive about it.
You really just need to accept that the majority of the community does not cater to you, XIV is a game designed to get new players and returning players up to date and at the current end game. Yes it pushes a lot of old content to the side, I'd even agree that's a shame, but it's just the nature of it. You either need to get over that fact or find people who'll go at your pace.
