Help Region Locked?

So I played the trial version a little while back. And I had no idea accounts were strictly region locked. Problem is I got the NA version of the game and expansion from NA Amazon. Is there anyway I can transfer my EU progress to a new NA account? cause i really don't want to start allover again. Plus I have meet some nice people there, its very friendly. I haven't used the code yet, so is returning the game my only choice? any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

So you created an EU account for the trial and then bought the NA region version? If so then I know of no way to transfer characters from one account to another.

If you don't want to buy the EU version to use with the EU account you have then you can access the EU servers from the NA account so you could still play with people you met on the EU server, which may be some help if you have problems returning the NA version.
