To be honest, it will be getting to a point where the potions will be needed or some form catch up mechanic to level. Look at WoW for example, that games has 110 levels now and people get bored if it before they even hit max level due to the vast amount of time it takes to level. With Final Fantasy, they could easily get around this by having the Echo show the Major past events going on with default Warrior of Light and treat this as a new adventurer type thing.

Reading through other things..Nice to see them want to finally add Alert type effects. It is sorely needed.

Please allow hotbar switch on stances too.. The technology is there pretty much with mounts and items already applied for it. It'll clear the clutter up so much.

Parry and Accuracy have a very high chance of being removed too?! Gimme Gimme Gimme.

A more likely thing to happen is an unskippable long cutscene summarizing the story so far. What you're proposing would cause issues with the story moving forward, too many branches.

Not particularly, it'd be like the Legacy Player/2.0 Player split. There'd be SOME difference to begin with but after a while your star would begin to eclipse your predecessor and people would treat you with the exact same respect they'd have treated them.

If he said "she isn't a monk" (can't confirm for certain, can't access Reddit right now) then I'm not entirely certain what else she could be, if not a dancer.

He didn't comment on her only said the WOL is a Monk and that is the male AF gear. This is per the translation.

He didn't said "male AF", he simply said Monk AF.

And Female AF won't be that different, how different has it been from the Male armor so far?

If she was a Monk it would make sense for him to say so.

Unless he wants people to keep speculate (good strat to keep people interested)

I'm still convinced she's a Dancer, and Dancer will be Healer.

I also think:

- We won't have DPS Samurai but Gunblade Job instead.
- If we get Samurai it will be Tank and not DPS.

If not:

- DPS Samurai
- Tank Red Mage
- Healer Dancer

There's also the chance they add a second DPS into a 4.X patch, which could be Samurai.

Level jump potions = terrible idea, aside from being able to skip storyline on alts. Even with that incentive I'd rather level all my alts through storyline than have a level skip potion available. Things are just becoming more and more like Korean free to play MMOs. I've been around since 1.0 and I can say for the most part ARR is a vast improvement but lately the cash shop and free to play spectrum has been becoming more and more prominent. At first I was like "meh, nbd" when they added cash shop, but just as some had speculated, it is now having a snowball effect and turning in a bad direction. Level skip potions relate to this in the respect that they are, imo, a "pay-to-win" type of thing.

This isn't a f2p, it shouldn't be an option. Just my opinion. There is nothing positive that can come from a game having the option to pay for levels just like RMT advertise they can do for you. Making it "legal" just makes it even more accessible. Obviously it isn't my decision [or any of ours] to make, but I highly disagree with it conceptually.
