    People seem to be ignoring the fact that most people who buy a potion already have a class at 60 have probably gotten a sample of what the class is like through palace of the dead and is just trying to trim the fat and not grind all the dungeons they've already grinded. and guess what having a class already at 60 is probably going to be a requirement before you can even buy said potion.

    Yoshida's descriptions of Eureka the Forbidden Land leave me with a feeling of "no, not for me." It actually sounds like the relic weapon is going to be gated behind the kind of stupidly and pointlessly difficult Notorious Monster crap that so many FFXI players seem to crave. All that Open World Danger (tm) to make the place scary. So now instead of the relic being a path for non raiders to play steadily and achieve something, it becomes something that only top tier players in top tier gear will pursue. No thanks.

    ...For the love of god, plz no. I like the relic weapons because they're a stress free alternative. Why are you gonna force pointless open world content on something that was originally just fine and fun?

    Another relic????? ..... I hope our Anima can be evolved or turned in to start it or i'm not doing it.

    Here is the section that has me concerned;
    • On Forbidden Land of Eureka, Yoshida doesn't think that it's a place everyone would like to visit, equating to a ghost house where "why would I want to purposely visit a scary place like that". However, even if players were not to go because "it's a scary place why would I want to", it's a place that is to create curiosity because "even if it's scary, there is still something to look forward to". Yoshida answers the question using the couple dating logic for this.
    • Forbidden Land of Eureka may be the place that is created as a "theme park" where one can do their next relic weapon through here. Yoshida on that issue, mentions that, up till now, weapons are all upgraded through using existing content but players may be sick of this by now, and since they are also at its limit of tying new content using existing content to clear, hence the devs have agreed on "creating a specific attraction park (area)" for the next relic weapon content. And since Zodiac Weapon and Anima Weapon is a "Time To Win" based content, they found the name Forbidden Land quite appropriate for it. The concept behind it came from Final Fantasy III, which Eureka is a land sealed by strong weapons and magic, hence they thought of using it as a content in 4.0 that aims to have players invest their time without getting burned out. The content is also aimed to be challenging, which he cited the 72-hour notorious monsters as one of the key features.
    • The image shown in the keynote on Forbidden Land of Eureka is not finalized.
    • It's also a content made for FFIII fans, so that they can feel some nostalgia.

    Stress free??? Fun??? I will shank someone if I have to farm 24,000 tomes again while only having ARF as a viable option.

    Yes, stress free. I'm settled in for the long haul currently with three relic weapons on the i230 step, one of which is almost at I240 and I have 75 crystal sand, and farming more daily. It's completely stress free.

    So you people want the same silly repetitive quests which keep asking the same old things again and again? People were complaining that the game became boring and repetitive without risks and imagination. Yoshi decided to risk with Eureka. People crying before even they see what exactly is this then want the same old stuff again and again. Just lol
