I feel like there's too many suggestions floating around. Not that player feedback is bad, it's just that there's no way they can accommodate all of us. All I'm seeing on the forums lately is suggestions of things that you think the developers should do. Then If people don't get what they want, they whine about it forever. I'm definitely supportive of fan content, but we need to let the developers make the next expansions how they would make them. That's how new, original, and solid content is usually made. I find it hard to believe that the developers can sustain themselves on fan suggestions alone. They need to be inspired for themselves.

You didn't say slow down or stop anywhere in your OP.

You're saying let them be them, and people cry and whine about not getting what they want from the devs, and you're for fan content, and want more solid content. But right there you're contradicting yourself inadvertently, most of the content in this game, well mostly PotD and Diadem, were heavily influenced by the community, as was adding the RP icon, and the plea for housing caused SE to make apartments.

The entire meaning of your passage could mean to some, as a means to promote less community suggestions or stop them completely, because like you said "they can't accommodate us all."

No one is attacking you or telling you to leave, people are merely pointing out the irony within your realization. That realizing a guy who called for the inclusion of man nipples is now saying things along the lines of calling on people to slow/stop community suggestions, is a bit absurd.
