Cross-breeding...?

It's not often you see something you want to have displayed above your head as you live your life.

TBH I'd just be happy if they allowed us to pick the animations we want for the races we do have. I love the way my Au'ra looks, I hate everything she does. Everything. I'd have her use all Roe animations.

I'm inclined to say half our races are already cross bred between a human and some domestic animal ^^'

I'm also inclined to say my race is an allagan experiment gone rogue. Beginning of race distributions was never addressed.

That said, bring on the cross-breeds!



Unrelated to 14 but a crossbreed nonetheless. Basically supporting racial characteristics to be shared between one another.

On to the topic, I've always gone with the idea that most people tend to stick with their own races. Of course, you have a small number of the populace who are more adventurous.

There are even NPCs that suggest this is going on. You have lalafell males hitting upon miqo'te dancers. You have hyur ladies of the night picking up roe sailors. Surely, if the developers had not intended the idea of interracial procreation to be in the game, these NPC interactions would not be happening.

Even so, few of the liaisons result in crossbreed children because our individual genetics don't mesh well. With that said, the idea of playing a lalafell + miqo'te crossbreed does appeal to me as both a role player and a lover of cute things. I photoshopped my character a few times as a lalaq'ote and the results were heart-meltingly adorable.

I believe there are no cross-breeds simply because they just aren't made yet xD.

Like cat guys are "rare" but now they are all over. Au Ra turned up out of no where but were pretty much nonexistent before besides Yugiri. And she used Miqo'te body and animations. Once Au Ra were finished, they had their own bodies, faces, and animations and Yugiri used that instead.

I believe this will be the case with cross-breeds.

Know whats funny? Its hinted almost the entire game that all the races at one point think about or actually DO have sex with other races but we've only seen 1 crossbreed which was only in Heavensward. Most certain that Roegydan pirate captain banged one of his Miqo'te ladies at one point, There was a story of a Roegydan i love with a Lalafell in a story of one of the dungeon books. and its hinted countless times male Hyurs are just drawn to Miqo'te girls. It'd make the most sense if they allow us to customize race traits. :/

Yes, sex between different races can happen. But for now we only know that Hyurs and Elezeen can have children together. Sex is not always about making a child.

Yep. We KNOW the all races have children of their own too but we've only now just seen Miqo'te girl children! Where are the boys? Roegadyn kids? Au Ra kids? Lalafell kids? (They say they are the same as adults but I seriously think that's an excuse..)
