Please fix it, but I'd prefer classes to be revamped first.
Personally, I hate to have to keep grade 1 Dark Matter on me just to repair my Moonlet.

They should just have 1 type of matter, but require you to use up 5 matters to repair what would be a grade 5 equipment
And the same with materia attachment, erase all that carbonised/fossilised/whatever matter and just have a universal matter for that but requiring differing amounts of matter to be used per gear slot/level of item being melded to.

I also agree with this. There should be a varying cost to repairing higher level gear verses lower level gear. As for would this still cause inventory clutter, couldn't they also change the max stack size to 999? Really, you won't be away from a vendor long enough to burn through even 99 anyhow.
