Keyboard/Mouse VS Controller

We all know the game was designed to be used with a Controller, but does anyone else find keyboard/mouse feels more natural?

I feel so sluggish when using my Xbox controller. I only use it during grinding or crafting. For every other situation, I use keyboard. I love my 1-0 bar and TAB (sorry D-pad).

I actually play with joypad/keyboard. While a quite peculiar combination, a joypad compensates the inherent weaknesses of keyboard (mostly related to the lack of analogic controls).

I've gone back and forth between the two and it feels like the controller runs more smooth to me.

I'm using a PS3 controller though so maybe that makes a difference.

Using the keyboard for MMOs is just more natural to me... But they really need to tweak some of the controls for non-controller players.

I think it is more of what we grow up using honestly.

Even on mmos like WoW I can navigate and do things much faster on keyboard only, rift I had a hell of a time in beta because I was not use to using wasd at all.

For me controller with FFXIV feels the most natural, keyboard only feels the most usable (I can use macros and actions much faster), when I touch the mouse I just fail at everything honestly.

Exacly the same as me. I prefer playing in my PS3 controller. Less key shortcuts to remember ;P

I have yet to try playing with a Controller. I have been planning on it however.

I am a PC gamer. A keyboard/mouse user. I have not played console games in years, and don't play with a controller. Controllers nowadays are very large and feel oversized and clunky in my hands. Plus, I don't like having to pick up or put down a controller to type commands or talk to my party.

When I played FFXI and could not use a mouse, I used a keyboard only setup. But every MMO since then, I've played with a keyboard/mouse combo.
