PS4 to Pro data transfer

Hi, I'm going to get a PS4 Pro in the next days. Is there a way to keep all gearsets, crossbars, settings and everything else when changing from PS4 to PS4 Pro?

Those should be in some save files. Back them up and restore.

If you still have your ps4, the pro lets you transfer/copy all data from your original ps4 to the pro. All you have to do is have them both connected to your router with ethernet cables. I've done this myself, so I know it works.

As the other two posts state, back up or transfer, I personally backed up and restored as I exchanged my old ps4 towards the pro so transfering between the other two wasn't an option. You can back up to the cloud or an external hard drive, but even with decent Internet a hard drive is probably quicker. Side notes the external has to be fat32 or exfat format and the restore is much quicker than the back up. (Back up took 5 hours for me, restore only 2 hours) For me this included everything firm save files to screens hots and full game and patch files.

Thanks guys, I connected both to my WiFi and then when prompted i connected the consoles with a LAN and in one hour all the 500 gb were in their place in the Pro exactly as I left them in the PS4 FFXIV settings and all as well!
