I think some people chose to live as a canvas, and if that makes them happy then more power to them.
I am pretty much against the modelling industry as a whole though, they do more Photoshop then I do... and I spend at least 8 hours per picture.

I do like your orb picture though, would be cool to do other poses/characters in different coloured orbs
