I'm a mount collector but I know that I'll never have the legacy Chocobo or the carpet goobbue. And you know what? I'm okay with that because I didn't play 1.0. Let the legacy people have their exclusive things. Next thing you're gonna say is that it's unfair that some people don't have the Cait Sith minion or Moogle cap right?

I would love to add more time sensitive event things to the cash shop, too! Lets just make it all available to everyone. No need to feel proud for the rewards you have when everyone can get it.

I'm sorry your collection will remain incomplete, but it is what it is. Legacy players got to keep those titles and items as a thank you from SE for remaining steadfast and loyal to a game that was essentially crap at the time. Something that I doubt the majority of 2.0 players would have done. (I'm a 2.0 player btw, and I doubt I would have stuck around in 1.0 either). Frankly, this is the first I'm hearing about legacy items and titles at all. Which makes me wonder, like others, why this wasn't asked for sooner. It's a bit late to be asking for legacy items when we're on the verge of 4.0.

Why? How come they get to complete their collections but I can't just because I played at the wrong time? So now any new player starting the game that wants to collect everything just has to deal with it? Sorry, that's just not cool.

They stuck with the game when it was at risk of tanking. The legacy rewards were a thankyou for that show of faith.

The fact you suggest a belt as an alternate exclusive reward, something that doesn't even have any value as a glamour item, shows you see little value in SE's attempt to thank a loyal player base during a very difficult time for the game.

Sorry, but that's just not cool either.
