Except you're trying to apply specific, real-world mechanics in a fantasy world which, by definition of "Fantasy", explores a world based on unrealistic and impossible situations.

The fact that you're attempting to draw parallels between the real world and the fantasy world on such a specific scale and then saying that "fantasy is doing it wrong" is completely laughable.
