the lightest modern bows for hunting deer have drawstrengths of more than FIFTY POUNDS! And medieval warbows had even higher drawstrengths (upwards of 150+ lbs). That is not something you can brush off so easily in the context of fantasy. (certain things still must obey the laws of physics) By comparison, guns are simpler to aim and fire, as you don't have to hold a ready shot while aiming. (The reason guns replaced bows on the battlefield is because while guns are more mechanically complex, they are significantly easier to use.) So yeah, it is a big deal.

Well, just because you can't move while holding a 50lb draw doesn't mean your character can't. If they're adventuring all around and facing giant beasts, I'd hope they could move while holding a 50lb draw. Heck, if they're fighting and beating Ifrit I'd hope any of them, aside from a mage, would be able to hold a 100lb draw while moving. This also isn't a medieval setting so mentioning 150lb draws has no bearing. The game has gunblades, massive airships and aether that can teleport you anywhere in the world in the time it takes for the loading screen to pass by. It's the same argument as the characters running the entire time with no fatigue - it's not physically possible but I don't see many people volunteering to walk instead of run to a camp.

On another note, the maximum distance doesn't even require much in the name of accuracy as the monsters are generally large and only about 20 feet away. Most likely less. Maybe we should talk about the physics of their AoE arrow rain effect, what are the actual odds of any of those arrows actually landing a hit on any one monster? Forget your Earth-based physics in a make-believe world. Heck forget your Earth-based physics in any world that isn't Earth.
