When is SE going to do something real to fix the issues with housing?

There's no reason why it's okay for one person to have multiple houses when others haven't had a chance for years, no matter how you spin it.

You're right: it's not fair that some people have multiple houses on all of their alts. But, let's be real. Fixing that will do NOTHING to alleviate the fact that most players don't have houses. The number of plots opening up would be great, but as soon as they all sold out (almost immediately), you would all be right back here complaining that you still haven't had a chance to get a house.

Letting people have multiple houses is wrong, yes, but it's NOT what's keeping you from getting one. The extremely short supply is, and that's not something that SE did by accident. They want full houses to be very few in number. That's why their answer to housing complaints was apartments, not more plots.

Even if there were still issues, there would be fewer issues and it would be more fair. Not being able to make something perfect is not an excuse to do nothing. Apartments are garbage. When people bring up apartments it makes me want to vomit.

I agree. They should change people owning multiple houses. I want to see that happen. But, it's probably not going to give you or anybody else in this thread here a house. There simply aren't enough houses to go around, and any that open up would be bought before any of us got off of work. And that's the point I'm trying to make: apartments suck, but there is a reason SE went with them. They don't want to make full housing available to everyone. They want it to be a highly limited market. Why? Talk to them about it. I disagree with the direction, but it's not my decision to make.

Well technically what you said isn't entirely incorrect, but your argument is as weak as saying even without drink-driving, there will still be car accidents anyway, so there's no need to deal with the drink-driving issue.

Saying you want it fixed, while providing no possible solutions or suggestions is not paving the way for a good thread discussion.

In my humble opinion, making it so you are account bound to ONE house is a step in the right direction. Allowing our alts to have automatic sharing rights to that one account bound house would be even better, sharing an inventory chest would be a dream but would be amazing also.

This could really help out, I really wish they are considering how to implement it already.
