When is SE going to do something real to fix the issues with housing?

I do report people. I'll stop being "salty" (aka- you disagree with me so I'm wrong) when they fix something that's been broken for like 2 years.

I own a large house and I support this thread 100%. Housing has been a trainwreck ever since it was implemented.

The only way houses can be bought up on only seconds after they reclaimed is the person is either camping the wards or have inside knowledge. When I found my house it was a reclaim and lot just sitting there empty even had enough time for a friend to come loan me some gil cause I was short. Because as far as I know the reclaim timer was not reset it was just paused so pretty much a house could get reclaimed at any time.

This is true. The lodestone post even warned players to enter their house before the maintenance because it was a possibility their house could have been reclaimed while maintenance was happening.

Just have to keep checking and get lucky and snag a reclaimed house. Hundreds of people will be doing the same.

Make it so that it's impossible for people to have like 5-10+ houses on one account. There's a huge step forward right there.

Solution: Share the house between all characters on the same world on that account, superseding people's ability and need to have multiple houses.

But that would probably be too much common sense.
