When is SE going to do something real to fix the issues with housing?

I'm so tired of the fact that housing is still basically impossible after 2 years of them knowing the system is broken.

Today houses went up for about... 5 seconds. Most probably bought by people who already had 5+ or are just going to try and sell them for like 3+ x as much.

When are we going to get a real solution and not something garbage like tiny apartments?

Never, because limited housing like this in games is really popular in Asian countries, for some reason.

With the way that they designed the housing, using the Wards and whatnot, it'll be highly unlikely that we ever get an actual solution. Each ward needs a chunk of server space. As do the instanced houses themselves, although they arent as resource heavy. But given the resources the wards require, its highly unlikely they would ever be able to have enough wards for everyone in the game to own a house, especially when players are using alts to buy multiples. They would have to have many more servers dedicated JUST to the housing, and that would end up costing them too much in the long run.

The only way we'd ever see an improvement on the housing system is if they rebuilt it from the ground up.. and that's even less likely to happen.

Make it so that it's impossible for people to have like 5-10+ houses on one account. There's a huge step forward right there.

More houses to be bought up in <5 minutes by the same people who already have multiple others or people who will just try and flip it for 10x the price?

They are not working on fixing this in any way that will actually solve something.

No one is asking that one be handed to them. They're asking that they have the opportunity to buy one. Or at least something similar - not the garbage consolation prize that is an apartment.

This should have been fixed over a year ago at minimum.

You say fixed like it's a bug. SE wants full housing to be limited and elite. It's by design.

There's nothing "limited" or "elite" about having a ton of alts and being free to be online during hte 5 minutes when housing is available...

Many people have the resources to purchase them if there were any for sale.

Buying up a ton of a limited resource isn't "limited" or "elite" its greedy and rude.
