I sincerely hope you do not disable the chat functions in PvP, having limited macros to communicate is just not good enough. In addition if this move is to combat toxic player mentality spend the development time on adding right click report harassment to the chat right click report command list.

Additionally, I know that I've seen a lot of toxicity in Ranked Solo Feast with brand new PvP players selecting that game mode to start playing PvP. You could reduce the frustration of more seasoned PvP players by implementing a PvP rank requirement in order to queue for ranked. For example, require players be rank 25 or greater in order to queue for Ranked Solo Feast, but allow new players to queue for 8v8 Feast or Frontlines. This would lessen their impact on matches, help them grow and succeed in pvp and get them ready for the competitive nature of ranked game play.

PvP does not a lot of improvements, Im excited to see the new maps and happy that the team is developing more maps. However, please, please, please, do not disable chat. It will make coordination difficult in solo queue, and have a negative impact on the ability to build a quality PvP community. I hate to say it, but if disabling chat in combat was a good idea we would have seen it a long time ago in games like WoW, GW2, or LoL, but the fundamental point of playing PvP in MMOs is the player interaction. Disabling this removes that core element of game play.
