Actually it's 4/15 being offensive abilities, unless you consider the AOEs as defensive abilities. Heck if we wanna be more accurate it's actually 7/15 are offensive, you have the 4 elemental spells, a sleep spell, an ability that increases MATT by 20% and an ability that instant cast the next spell. Overall it's a good balance between offense and defense.
What's really strange about these though is how odd the enfeebles are for each spell, you have does wind dmg with chance of DoT, then Earth damage with chance to lower earth evasion o_O. As it stands now I see each element in the following sense
Wind=DoT and Dispel
Earth=Earth evasion down o_O and aga
Ice=THM only single target and aga enfeeble dmg
Fire= pretty much aga I-III
Thunder=pretty much single target I-IV
It'll definitely be interesting to see how they work out though, I just wonder what's the point of having one spell that reduces one elements evasion unless said spells above are actually More unique then we think, if we take another look at it we can think
Wind=Choke, AOE with elemental based enfeeble
Earth=x element evasion down, stoneja
Ice=Freeze and Freezeja?
Fire= Firaga I-III
Thunder=Thunder I-IV
I mean seeing as there is a lack of water element perhaps they are trolling us by making us think the elements will be like this when in reality we might actually see something like
Fire:
Con8/9=Burn, AOE dispel
Con10/11=Fire element eva down, Firaja
THM3/4=Flare and Flareja
THM5-7= Firaga I-III
THM8-11=Fire I-IV
Least then it would make sense as to why water is missing, however perhaps they could also be changing the element of Cure to be water based rather then light based though that would prolly be a cheap way to make up for the lack of water element lol.

Another thoguht did just pop into my head though perhaps the Wind spell with the chance to DoT effect will be based on the strongest affinity you have attached atm, so if you are using a Fire wand you'll have a chance to do a burn effect when using that wind spell and such, since it doesn't straight up say "Choke" effect. But it still confuses me about the eart evasion down lol.
